How to Read Impact Modifier Technical Data and Application Test Results
Understand specifications, typical properties, batch COAs, application tests, comparative evaluations, SDS and transport evidence.
Short Answer
First identify what kind of evidence a value comes from and its scope. A product specification, batch COA, application dataset, comparative evaluation, SDS and transport document answer different questions and must not be treated as interchangeable guarantees.
Evidence types
Common interpretation errors
A batch COA result is not automatically a guaranteed specification. Different formulations should not be directly ranked without qualification.
SDS specific gravity is not the same concept as COA apparent or bulk density. A series-level specification is not automatically an individual grade-specific guaranteed limit.
Controlled Evidence and Related Resources
Evidence scope: Application and comparative results are formulation-specific and are not guaranteed product specifications. Final grade selection and dosage must be validated in the customer's resin, formulation and processing conditions.
